Here are my favourite easy Breakfast Recipes.
I love to start my day with a fresh green juice then a few hours later a protein smoothie.
In my fresh juice, I just use a bunch of celery (it’s delish) and has so many awesome health benefits.
Gluten Free Grain Free Salted Caramel Porridge

1 cup activated buckwheat (or buckinis!)

1 cup water

1 ½ cups Almond milk

2 tablespoons organic honey
-
Cinnamon and your favourite topping

In a saucepan on medium heat add the buckinis, water and allow to absorb. It should take about 5 minutes.

Add the milk, honey and cook until buckinis become nice and soft. It should take around 10 - 15 minutes. Be sure not to boil.

Pour into a cute bowl, top with your favourite toppings. We use cacao nibs, roasted macadamias and a little extra cinnamon.

Super Easy Cookies and Cream Smoothie

1 serve chocolate protein powder. I use a vegan hemp chocolate flavour

2 medjool dates, pitted
-
½ frozen banana, peeled and sliced
-
3 tablespoons rolled oats or gluten free oats if you prefer
-
1 cup (250ml) almond milk or coconut water
-
1 cup ice cubes
-
1 teaspoon Dutch Cinnamon
To serve:
Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth and creamy.

Ingredients
Serves: 1

1 frozen banana, sliced
-
½ zucchini, roughly chopped (preferably frozen)

Large handful of spinach leaves or kale
-
¼ Avocado
-
1 cup coconut water
-
1 tablespoon chia seeds
-
Handful of mint leaves (optional)

1 cup ice cubes
-
Berries, to serve
Method

Place all of the ingredients in the blender.

Blitz until the smoothie reaches a creamy consistency. If the mixture is too thick, add 1 - 2 tablespoons of water.
To serve, pour the smoothie mixture into a bowl and top with berries
