    How Do you Start your day?

    I start most days with stillness and meditation, this is done without phones on or even in my vision. I feel the screen strain as soon as I look at the phone or TV. These devices really have the power to suck our energy if we let them. I take the first 20 minutes of my day to mediate, say my affirmations and take a moment to just pause, stop and listen.     How annoying is it when you find yourself around someone who keeps whining, complaining, bitching and moaning…it’s annoying, right? I’m sure at times we’ve all had our go at being that annoying whiner. I will be honest, when I’m around someone who is chronically whining, complaining, bitching and moaning it’s as difficult for me as it is for anyone else. The energy of those conversations is awful. If we are not conscious of it, we can often find ourselves becoming the whiner.

    Who are you judging? Are you judging yourself? We can’t help it, all us human beings judge, but why are you judging others? We all hate when we feel judged but we still do it to ourselves and others. Make a list of the people that you find you are judging and ask yourself why?     Make a list of the people who you would like to forgive, love and let go. This often is also ourselves. Often the biggest obstacles holding us back from forging forward in our lives is forgiving the people from our past.     Make a list of the expectations that you feel, you and others may have placed on you. I felt for a long time that so many of my family members expected me to meet a partner, get married and have a baby.     It's journal time. When you are ready sit down with a hot cup of tea or coffee. Taking some time to write out and journal all the things that you can think of, that you know deep inside, you are holding onto.
